ride in the float plane to the lake for $300 (only 6 spots are available) / meeting us at the lake without riding in the plane is included in the price
ride a horse to all of our horse trek locations instead of riding in a side-by-side for $300 (weight limit of 250lbs and must be able to mount the horse on your own) / riding in the side by side is included in the price

my retreats are focused on content, not education – for those that want to just show up and shoot, those that want to make the most of their trip with plenty of exploration time, and those that prefer to bring a friend/spouse/etc.
there will be 6 editorial elopement shoots over the course of 3 days. one day will consist of a storytelling, documentary-style elopement where we spend the entire day with the same couple.
this retreat will have diverse couples, including potential same sex couples.
i want you to experience all of the beauty alaska has to offer, so some of our shoot locations are pretty far apart. we’ll be shooting with cabins, horses, mountains, a float plane, a helicopter, a glacier, and more!
alaska isn’t called the land of the midnight sun for no reason. there will be plenty of exploration time outside of our shoots because it is daylight for so long!

access to all 6 shoots is included in the price. your flight, meals, and transportation are not included.

The exact schedule is still being finalized, but you will arrive on august 12th. the shoots will take place on august 13th, 14th, and 15th. you can fly out late on august 15th or august 16th. you can find a tentative schedule below.
sunrise is early and sunset it late this time of year, so there will be plenty of midday exploration time between shoots.

you will fly into anchorage and it is recommended you stay in anchorage, palmer, or somewhere in that general area. 4 of our shoots are north of anchorage and 2 are south. please remember that alaska is vast and our locations will not be close together.

it is necessary that you have the stamina and ability to hike for up to 4 hours for our glacier tour.

a $600 payment is due at the time of sign-up, a $650 payment is due on June 15th, and the final $650 payment is due july 15th.
the full balance must be paid by july 15th, 2024.

each shoot will last 2 hours, not including hiking or travel time.

tickets are non-refundable, though you may sell your ticket at any time if your plans change.

you will be added to our private instagram group where all future updates will be shared + you can chat with other attendees. i will be there to help with the planning process along the way if you have any questions.

You have the option to ride in the float plane roughly 45 minutes from anchorage to the lake and back to enjoy all of alaska’s beauty from above! this costs an additional $300 and there are only 6 spots available for this opportunity, so it will be first come first serve

The breakdown
6 shoots total / each shoot is 2 hours long
matanuska glacier
we’ll be taking a private, 4-hour hiking tour onto the matanuska glacier, shooting while we hike, to reach the location where the helicopter will meet us (weather-permitting). once we’ve finished shooting with the helicopter, we will begin our hike back to the parking lot. our models can sit inside + pose with the helicopter.
horse trek
we have a 3-hour horse trek reserved where we’ll be riding a side-by-side out to our shoot location, situated on a beach in front of gorgeous mountain views. you have the option to ride a horse to our location instead for an additional $300. the models will be riding and posing with the horses.
if you’d like to experience the horse trek yourself, you can ride your own horse to our location and back for an additional $300.
hatcher pass
hatcher pass has some of the most jaw-dropping, panoramic mountain views alaska has to offer and we’ll be right in the middle of it all.
a-frame cabin
taking a break from hiking, our couple will elope at the black cabin in palmer, ak and then strip down and jump in the hot tub at the end of the shoot.
float plane
the float plane will take off from anchorage and meet us at a beautiful lake. the plane will park at the beach so our couple can post on + in it as well.
you can pay an additional $300 to ride in the float plane to the lake and back. this will be an epic opportunity to see alaska’s landscape from above and there are only 6 spots available!
chugach mountains
another mountain shoot, but farther south and a whole different landscape. this location is south of anchorage and has the most incredible views.

tickets launch monday, april 15th at 4:00 pm CST
once you have submitted your application, you will receive a contract via honeybook with the ability to pay + reserve your spot.
there are 10 total spots available
contracts are sent and spots are filled first come first serve. you have 48 hours to reserve your spot before your contract is closed and your spot is available to others.
once your spot is reserved, you will immediately be added to our private instagram group where we will discuss the shoots and the logistics/planning.
